This
video-essay focuses on concrete and abstract work within the context
of the cultural industry. I examine it deliberately by applying these
two Marxist terms. With their aid, I attempt to explain the emotions
of alienation that most workers in independent exhibition spaces
contend with during their daily operation. In this instance, the case
study was based on testimonies from members of the association
Fotograf in Prague.
