The
Metabolic Rift: The Excrements of Capitalism

In
collaboration with Tomáš Uhnák, I used the medium of
experimental-documentary video to introduce ecological theme of
Metabolic Rift to visitors of an independent art institution. We
focused primarily on the circulation of nutrients within our
globalized world. More than half the world's population lives in the
urban landscape of cities. As a result, the absolute majority of
nutrients necessary for the production of food does not go back to
agricultural land from the urban centers, instead ending up on waste
dumps or being taken by rivers into the world's seas and oceans.
